Corpse Collective

They say the world is dying, but we at the corpse collective know the truth. It just needs to be remade. Ground down to bone dust, kneaded into meat dough, and baked to perfection. The world we deserve is only one cookie sheet away. No matter what challenge presents itself to us we will overcome it. Death from a broken spine, severed head, or fatal stab wound? Child’s play. As long as we have the body, our trusty soul catcher will snag that silly spirit of yours before it wanders off. Then it’s only a matter of grinding out a new flesh wagon to throw it into. So if death frightens you, but you want to make a difference in this dangerous world, just mosey on down to your local grinder (usually near some graves) and sign up!

What the hell is this?

This is a means to bring in more TTRPG players. So many players have become attached to their meat bags, with all their memories, that it is hard for them to say goodbye when they inevitably perish in the dying world. This supplement is a way to ease them into the idea of that. Sure their character keeps dying, but hey at least they can try to bring them back to life if they really wanted too.

Over time, I would imagine that people would just start seeing that the dungeon crawling, and the wacky stories, are what make Mork Borg (and other OSRs) so amazing. Not the character with the 200 page backstory.

Or this module will just annoy everyone. I don't know. All I know is that it was an interesting idea in my brain when I thought of it. So I put it on paper, and hey it's free! Would love to hear some people try it out. CC is always welcome. Cheers!

Why is it still in development?

I need to have people play test it. As much as I want to just say it's awesome, I know I missed something somewhere. So I'd love to have people grab a copy and try it out. Tell me what I did wrong ... or right! I also want to do some layout for it, and maybe get some actual art from an artist instead of having weird shit pumped out by a machine.
